Domain Name Registration Service, pairNIC, Offers New Privacy Feature

PITTSBURGH, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/18/09 -- Domain name registration service pairNIC, which is powered by the global Web hosting company pair Networks, Inc., now offers an e-mail, postal address, and telephone Whois privacy feature at no additional cost to its customers. This new feature keeps a customer's Whois contact information private and helps decrease junk mail while still allowing e-mail correspondence to reach the customer.

While other registrars charge a significant fee for similar services, pairNIC does not charge for the privacy feature when customers register domain names with pairNIC.com. The other unique aspect of this privacy feature is that pairNIC gives its customers the flexibility to turn the feature on or off independently for e-mail addresses, postal addresses, and telephone numbers.

"Since its inception, pairNIC has focused on offering value-added features along with its domain name registration services at no additional cost to its customers," said Kevin Martin, CEO of pair Networks. "The new e-mail, postal mail, and telephone Whois privacy feature reinforces the value of our pairNIC domain name registration services."

The postal address and telephone number privacy feature is only available for COM and NET domain names. However, the e-mail address privacy feature is currently available for all pairNIC.com registered domain names.
